Join Vroman’s for a fun night of salsa dancing with the talented and charming instructors of Arthur Murray’s Dance Studio. This evening of dance instruction is completely free, and it is not necessary to bring a partner. Hosted outside near the Vroman’s stage, this is a great chance to learn some new moves or to master some old ones.

On Thursday, July 8, the Pasadena Playhouse announced that it has officially emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy after its plan of reorganization was approved. The Playhouse received an anonymous, matching donation of one million dollars, which has helped get the theatre on better footing. It is looking forward to start productions by fall of this year.

The Pasadena Playhouse District Association sizzles this summer with its Seventh Annual Free Jazz Summer Concert Series. The concert series takes place every Sunday evening, July 11 through August 29, 2010 from 5 pm until 7 pm at the Vroman’s outdoor courtyard, 695 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91101. The Seventh Annual Jazz Summer Series is free and open to the public.
