* The Man Who Knew Infinity Q&A: Saturday & Sunday, May 14 & 15

California Institute of Technology Taussky-Todd-Lonergan Professor of Mathematics Dinakar Ramakrishnan will participate in Q&A’s after the 7:20 PM screening of The Man Who Knew Infinity at the Playhouse on Saturday, May 14 and after the 4:20 PM screening on Sunday, May 15. Professor Ramakrishnan will speak about the film, math, and the film’s protagonist, Srinivasa Ramanujan.

* Auditions for “Brigadoon”: Saturday, May 14 from 10am to 12pm

First United Methodist Church invites students in grades 7-12 to audition to take part in the church’s upcoming production of Lerner and Loewe’s Brigadoon.  Those seeking a solo singing role should bring sheet music. While the cast is largely made up of middle- and senior-high students, interested adults are welcome as are younger children, provided they are accompanied at all rehearsals and performances by an adult.
